Hello! I'm Joanna Crouch, I'm from Newark, Delaware, currently residing in North East, Maryland with my husband, Dale Crouch. Dale is from Elkton, MD, close to where we currently live. We're not your average couple! We work together daily at our automotive repair shop, Crouch Automotive. We also shoot trap (clay targets thrown from a "house" in a field) together and drag race together! In our "spare time" lol, he works on cars & trucks and I make jewelry and accessories like keychains, dog collars, etc. We're both always doing something! I'm not your typical jewelry artisan. I've spent the last 15 years working with Dale in our basically male-dominated automotive repair business. While I love that business, after doing it for a long time, I just needed something a bit more "girly." I like jewelry and I've always enjoyed making my own earrings, bracelets and necklaces. I also fix broken jewelry for friends and family. In 2021, I started making it on a larger scale and selling it. I started buying many different media types. I came to appreciate the beauty in different stones, like; opal, onyx, Jasper, Jade, Quartz, Agate, the list goes on! Not only do I love the stones, but I love the shapes! Chips, beads, diamond, square, etc. Once I started working with stones, I started learning what works and what doesn't. What settings will hold up for years to come and what will fall apart in a short period of time.
